The Regional Occupational Program's Training Center offers tuition free, full and part-time Microsoft Office and Web Design and Development classes for adults and high school students in the San Francisco Bay Area.

At the ROP Pleasant Hill Training Center you can learn the computer skills needed to get a great job or to advance in your current career.

In today's competitive job market it's essential that you are skilled in the Microsoft Office Suite in order to find employment. In addition to knowing Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access more employers are looking for candidates who have a basic understanding of how to update and create Web pages and design graphics. We offer two self-paced programs that can be tailored to meet your needs:

Computer Basics & Microsoft Office: Learn how to effectively use the most popular office applications like Windows, Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, and PowerPoint.

Web Design & Development: Learn to create standards-compliant Web sites for yourself or employers, edit your digital photos, create Web graphics, develop publications, brochures, and flyers.

Whether you are new to computers or an experienced computer professional the ROP Technology Center has a program for you. No previous computer experience is required to enroll.

The Contra Costa County Office of Education's Regional Occupational Program has provided career development education programs for over 25 years to over 11,000 students each year. ROP classes are offered to high school students on every high school campus in Contra Costa County. ROP is tuition free and is accredited through the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. As an integral part of the public education system ROP also offers training, retraining, and upgrade courses for adult students and industry employees in specific skill areas.
