- Create a cover sheet (Ask instructor for Assignment Submission Procedures handout) for each project and attach labs*; submit for instructor review.
- Before submitting any work, check it thoroughly for quality. All work should be legible, spell checked AND proofread for accuracy, formatted correctly for data type, and it should make sense.
- Clearly identify each project, lab, and instruction number if there are multiple print outs for a specific lab.
- Do not change the menu bar or toolbars as instructed in the book.
- Students should complete the Word tutorial CD prior to starting the book.

Project 5
Mail merge can be rather difficult to learn. Before you begin this lesson review the supplemental mail merge instructions in the file Working with Mail Merge in Office 2003 (Word document file).
Page WD 302 - Skip using a template for the mail merge as directed on pages WD 302-312; instead, create the river run mail merge in a blank new document.
Page WD 315 - Use the instructions in Working with Mail Merge in Office 2003 to create the river run mail merge instead of the book directions. The data (addresses) can be found and the full letter can be found on page WD 299. You will need to customize the Address list to match the river run data as directed on page two of the Working with Mail Merge in Office 2003 note sheet.
