Students can earn individual certificates in the following applications: XHTML & CSS, PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash, Dreamweaver with PHP and PHP/MySQL (optional units are also available).
Students must complete all required assignments and the unit project in order to earn a certificate. The assignment sheets and unit projects are available below. The assignment sheets include: General unit completion and submission information, helpful notes, errors in the text, and the unit project information. It is your responsibility to read the assignment sheets carefully and ask questions if you do not understand a requirement.
If students have satisfactorily completed all assignments, unit projects, and the final class project they will also earn an overall certificate in Web Page Design.
Required textbooks are available in class. It is recommended that you purchase additional text/reference books on each subject to further enhance your knowledge and meet your individual learning style. Visit the instructor's blog and the class forum for daily class lecture notes and additional resources.
Units should be completed in the order below. When you complete a unit/book it is recommended that you also complete the unit project before you move on to the next application. All unit projects and the final project must be submitted prior to the student's class completion date. The instructor will not accept projects after a student has exited class.

Students may attend up to three nine-week sessions or 27 weeks. There is a lab fee of $60 per nine-week session. $240 is the total cost if students elect to attend the course for the entire 36 weeks. $60.00 is payable at the beginning of each nine-week session. |
